Casting Call for "Lead Rings on the Merry-Go-Round"!

Spotlight Players is very excited to announce Open Auditions for the radio show "Lead Rings on the Merry-Go-Round"! Auditions will be held on:

Wednesday, January 17th
7pm-9pm

and

Saturday, January 20th
10am-1pm

at

First Presbyterian Church
883 Rt 34
Matawan, NJ 07747

Auditioners need only attend one day and will not be needed for the entire time.

Co-directors Cassie Leonard and Chelsea Clarke and producer Sara Winchell are looking for a cast of 7-10 versatile actors, ages 18 and up, to portray a variety of characters in Spotlight Players’ production of “Lead Rings on the Merry-Go-Round” by Edward F. Emanuel.

In this show, one radio drama mystery is going out over the air while another mystery unfolds in the studio. Characters include radio actors, some with multiple voice parts, and production personnel including a radio director, sound effects technicians and an organist. 

Auditions and performances will be held at the First Presbyterian Church of Matawan, 883 NJ Route 34. Rehearsals before tech week will be held in private residences.

Prospective actors will be asked to do a cold reading from the script.

Saturday, March 9 at 8 pm
Sunday, March 10 at 3 pm
Saturday, March 16 at 8 pm
Sunday, March 17 at 3 pm
